Does it hurt?

With numbing cream, most clients rate it a 2–3 out of 10 — more strange than painful. Certain areas (forehead, around the nose) are more sensitive.

How is SkinPen different from at-home rollers?

Depth, sterility, and control. Home rollers work at depths that mostly can't reach where collagen is built — and drag needles sideways through skin rather than stamping vertically. Professional microneedling isn't the same treatment at a higher price; it's a different treatment.

Is it safe for darker skin tones?

Yes — and it's often the preferred collagen-building option for deeper Fitzpatrick types because there's no heat involved, which is where most pigment risk comes from. I've treated the full Fitzpatrick range for 7+ years.

How many sessions will I need?

For general skin quality: often 3. For acne scarring: usually 4–6. You'll get an honest number at your consultation, and we reassess as we go.

When will I see results?

A short-term glow within the first week; real structural change from week 4 onward, continuing to improve for up to 3–6 months after your series.

Can I combine it with my other treatments?
