VI Peel
Restore skin vitality by maximizing cellular turnover and evening skin tone

What it is:
The VI Peel is a medium-depth chemical peel that combines five clinically established ingredients — TCA, salicylic acid, retinoic acid, phenol, and vitamin C.
That blend matters. Instead of relying on one acid at a high strength (which is where irritation and pigment risk come from), the VI Peel uses several at moderate strengths that work on different layers and different problems at once. It's one of the reasons this peel has a strong safety record on deeper skin tones, where many traditional peels aren't appropriate.
What it treats:
Melasma and stubborn hyperpigmentation
Post-acne marks and uneven tone
Active acne and congestion
Rough texture and dullness
Early fine lines and sun damage
About the post-care:
Day 0 (treatment day): In-studio application takes about 30–45 minutes. You'll feel warmth and tingling — manageable, brief. You leave with the peel solution on and simple instructions.
Days 1–2: Skin looks slightly tan or tight. You're washing your face and applying the provided post-care. Totally work-safe.
Days 3–5: Peeling begins, usually around the mouth first. This is the "don't schedule a wedding" window. No picking, no peeling by hand — let it come off on its own.
Days 6–7: Peeling finishes. Fresh, smoother, more even skin underneath.
Weeks 2–4: Pigment continues to fade and texture keeps improving as cell turnover normalizes.

FAQ:
Does it hurt?
You'll feel heat and stinging for a few minutes during application — most clients rate it very manageable. No numbing needed.
How much will I peel?
Moderate, sheet-like peeling for about 3 days is typical. Some people peel more, some less — the amount of visible peeling doesn't determine your result.
Is it safe for darker skin tones?
Yes — the VI Peel was formulated with all Fitzpatrick types in mind, and I've spent 7+ years treating the full range of skin tones. Proper assessment and prep are what make it safe; that's exactly what your consultation is for.
How is this different from the peels you already offer?
It sits deeper than my lighter resurfacing peels — more downtime, more correction per treatment. In your consultation I'll tell you honestly which peel your skin actually needs; sometimes it's not this one.
How often can I do it?
Every 4–6 weeks during a corrective series, then typically 1–2 times a year for maintenance.
When's the best time?
Fall and winter — lower UV makes post-peel pigment protection much easier. (It's peel season. This is the moment.)
